During Princess Diana's royal trip to Turkey, the ex-president's wife Semra Ozal has a slip of the tongue when she says that they are "making love" instead of "law". This my mother told me. I wish I could get hold of the video. Apparently it had cracked up Princess D.

I miss being a kid

I miss being a kid. Playing all day long with mud up to my waist while exhausted and red in my cheeks from the fresh air. Swinging like crazy on the swings and the adrenalin rising as I push myself higher and higher. Squeezing play dough and making objects that didn’t make any sense but to me it was work of art.

There’s no limit of how many sand cakes I made in the sand box…and occasionally, ate them.

I suppose I miss being myself. :)

All the poor ones were surrounding him like a bunch of flies, aware that he could get rid of them with a shake of his hand. They were all drawn to him like a light and fell, one by one while struggling for his attention.

I observed from a distance; clenched my teeth, put on my sunglasses, turned my back and left before I was discovered.

The Bohemian Rhapsody

I loved Moulin Rouge the first, the second and the third time I watched it.

My favourite scene is when Ewan McGregor meets the bohemian lot and go crazy on the absinthe. Bohemians fascinate me in general. However, even though I share the same views as to in Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and Love, I could never be one.

Woody Woodpecker and his upper Manhattan friends, are drinking and sniffing while having intellectual conversations about world hunger and the latest exhibiton at the Guggenheim.

Their conversations are accompanied by Sidney Bechet in the background and the clinging sound of wine glassses.

This year I decided I would watch the EMA's and apart from all the crappy presentations and the unnecessary Katy Perry (why was she chosen as the host again???) The Killers blew me off with their performance.

Let's live a cliché;
Our eyes meet coincidentally in the middle of a rush hour in a subway station. By accident you look once, then twice. The third time, you pretend to be looking at the board while you try to close your umbrella. But I know how it works; you can't hide it from me. Why is your hair wet? I don't get it.
The crowd around us turns silent and moves in slow motion. No matter how many times I get bumped into; my looks remain calm, waiting for the next exchange.2 minutes to the next subway. It's not mine. Hopefully, not yours either.
