While searching for hotels abroad, I discovered a strange additional facility in one of the hotels as quoted
" Newspapers, garden, smoke-free rooms, rooms/facilities for handicapped, elevator, heating, storage for luggage, gayfriendly."
I mean, gayfriendly? How is that to be a facilty?

The epidemic of the 21st century; monkey appetite.
Having a monkey appetite means that you start one thing without finishing the other. The sudden urge of quitting your dance lessons to start guitar classes or dropping out of law school the 3rd year in order to be a full-time artist instead. Do you recognize these behaviors in yourself? I know many do. I’m surrounded by them and I get worn out by only looking at them.
The anxieties of not being able to accomplish everything before you die. I experience it often. Probably more often than I did before. There is a clock ticking for everything, (not just making babies, like guys often like to tease us with…ha ha, very funny you dickheads)
As our monkey appetite grows, the need for fulfilling it grows even more.
My question is then, is it possible to become everything we are capable of becoming?

Club:larm concert critic
Date: 21st February, Parkteatret
Hanne Hukkelberg(N)

I've been listening to Hanne before and not only did she play her most unknown and "boring" songs but she also didn't manage to capture the crowd.
Katzenjammer (N)

These girls are amazing. They own the stage, combine their songs with a little acting and you never get bored while they toss the instruments among themselves. Everybody plays everything. Nothing to complain on the music talent there.
Superfamily (N)

They sure are one big happy family on the stage. Their songs ooze quality and you keep tapping your foot during the whole concert.

Eurovision 2009
Watching the Eurovision song contest is a must for me. Last year, I couldn't find a more appropriate place than a gay bar to watch it. I might as well make the trip this year too.
During the 80'ies I would cheer for Turkey and hope that they alltogether would at least get 2 points. After the phone lines opened, Turkey managed to get among the top 5 every year. Though I don't like Turkey's song this year, I have a soft spot for the Norwegian one.
Alexander Rybak is Norway's contribution to the Eurovision song contest 2009. I'm so happy that he won!

I'm a model.
"What do you do?" he asked.
"I'm a model" she replied.
His facial expression was priceless.
It cracks her up every time.

What now?
The news came out of the blue, at a time when I couldn't care less about anything but was still examining the 'little less defined' wrinkles around my eyes.
"No biggy" I thought, it will be nice to come out of my comfort zone and focus on all the things that I normally wouldn't have time to.
But it's not easy loosening the grip. Spontanity is a virtue I admire, but very seldom practice. I've been going back and fourth on that plane ticket to accomplish the trip that I've wanted for a very long time.
The consequences scare me;living without a plan. I suppose I can handle it. That is, if it is only for a while.

New York, New York

“I want to go to New York” I said.
“Oh yeah, have you been there before?” She asked. I shook my head.
“Oh yeah, have you been there before?” She asked. I shook my head.
“I just feel that my personality belongs there” She raised her eyebrows questioningly.
“I know it sounds stupid” I paused, “But I’ve lived in two countries my whole life and I’m either too much or too much.” It sucks when no one else has the same perspectives as you do. You feel alone with your own thoughts. “A multicultural person” you think, would probably understand you and your humour better. But I’ve met them too.
I feel like New York City is the melting pot of all nationalities, as well as the continents. I feel that issues like religion, cultures, colours are well established in people’s minds. It is good to be able to get beyond the questionmarks and start our conversations from there, superficial or not.
There is only one way to prove my theory. Soon…
